Unusual small saber from Balkans to Greece; the sword measures 27" with 23" blade, the grip is of marine ivory, the D-shaped guard is lightly engraved. The blade shows a pronounced curve towards the last 6", and the blade measures 1-1/4" across widest portion. The right side of the blade shows a "VL" and 21844. Unusual Mamluke style saber with European blade, marked Vincenzo. The hilt and pommel cap are chiseled steel in oriental motifs and the grip is a dark horn. The sword measures 37-1/2" overall with 33" blade and is ofmedium to light weight. The grip shows a few small losses or "bug bites". The blade shows scattered light to moderate pitting, and no scabbard is retained. It is our belief that this is an entirely Italian madesword in mid-eastern style, similar to the Marine Corp.'s use of the Mamluke style saber as part of their uniform dress. A rarity. The frame is numbered 4455 and thesmall parts show the same number with a small n proof on left side of breech, j proof on side plate, and what may be a T proof on rail. The toggle is marked 55 on the top, also with a small proof. The pistol retains50-70% of an old blue finish which is drifting to patina, with good grips and a wood bottom mag. The action is good, the bore is good. Custom Bull Barrel Luger built on special order for famous Luger dealer, Ralph Shattuck, in the 1970s. The Luger shows a 6-1/2" heavy barrel that measures almost 3/4" across the flats. The rear sight is mounted with an adjustable windage and elevation rear sight that requires Allen wrenches. Front sight is a bead type of the size and style found on Winchester rifles. The frame and parts are DWM manufactured from a 1920commercial, serial #9178. The pistol has been nicely rust blued, of which 95% of this blue remains. The grips are good, generally good overall. This single action and holster rig were the property of “Chic” Iverson, noted Newport Beach, CA car dealer who was a close personal friend of John Wayne. The revolver shows 75-85% original nickel with most of the loss on the cylinder, somelight erosion just starting, and some drifting to natural metal color. The nickel is complete, uncleaned and in its natural state. The ivory grips are very good+ with a lovely patina. Massive Civil War era spear point Bowie knife of good quality but unmarked, showing 10-1/4" blade, 15-1/2" overall; blade measures 2-3/8" across widest part and of thick construction, measuring almost 1/4"across thickest part of back. The blade is finely ground and made, shows most of its original bright polish, just some slight beginning age and a couple of miniscule nicks at the edge. The guard is very thick andoversized for protection, the grip is checkered hardwood, possibly rosewood. A brass mounted leather scabbard with wide loop for belt is included and appears original to the knife. The brass shows a good patina,the leather is good with some opening to the edges, cracking, normal aging. Probably Philadelphia or New York made by its styling. Est.: $1,250-$2,500

Colt 1849 Pocket Model, .31 cal. percussion, 4" barrel, blue and case hardened finish, varnished wood grips, 2-line New York address, 5-shot, in case with accessories, serial #162027. The barrel shows 60-80%original bright blue which is drifting on the edges, some light erosion just starting where the finish is lifted. The markings are sharp, the edges crisp, the blue that remains is bright. The cylinder shows 60-80% cylinder scene, drifting to patina with traces of blue. The frame and hammer show 30-60% case hardening, evenly dulling and toning with a few spots of rainbow colors showing nicely. The rammer shows 50-70% case hardening with strong colors. The straps have drifted to brass patina with faint traces of light original silver. The grips are very good with just slight wear. All matching visible serial numbers, stunningblue and case hardening beneath the lever. Action good, bore bright, pistol has seen very little use. High quality pair of French style muff pistols with patent marked hammers for use with disk primers or caps, stamped on the hammers S.G.D.G. Brevett. The pistols are numbered 189 and show Damascene barrels,rounded engraved frames with small engraved scenes on each left side of action. The pair are numbered 1 and 2 at the breeches; they show an old plated gold and silver finish of which 75-85% remains. The stocks are carvedebony and in very good condition. The pair are cased within an old homemade wood case with simple cut out partitions covered in felt, with combination mold/barrel key, flask, key caps, screwdriver and loading rod. The metal surfaces have been lightly cleaned long ago and are aging back nicely with a graybrown patina and some strong traces of original blue. The barrel address is good, the edges are fairly sharp, the wood is good with a light old refinish. The rear sight is a proper folding '76 express type sight inits proper dovetail, a correct to-the-period front sight is in the original front dovetail. The frame shows 40-60% case hardening drifting to silver with some areas of rainbow colors. The lever shows 40-60% case hardening, the hammer and boltshow considerable original colors, the loading gate shows 75% thinning blue. The stocks are only good, with crazing to the varnish on the butt stock, minor scratches and cleaning with steel wool. The wood tometal fit is very good and the stocks have not been sanded; the action good, the bore near excellent. Colt Single Action Army revolver, .32-20 cal., 7-1/2" barrel, blue and case hardened finish, nickeled backstrap and trigger guard, raised carved wood grips, serial #309674. The barrel retains 75-85% original bluedrifting on the edges and muzzle, some minor nicks, mars and scratches, the front sight has been slimmed slightly. The frame shows 60-70% case hardening drifting to patina with some very nice areas of rainbow colors. The cylinder shows 30-50% thinning blue; the cylinder, edge of the ejector rod and muzzle along with the loading gate show many small nicks and mars, the type associated with storage in bins (prop houses in Hollywoodinventoried hundreds of single actions, and stored them rudely in bins from the 1920s-80s.). The backstrap and trigger guard show 90% of a re-nickeled finish; the grips are nicely carved out of an exotic hardwood,and show a bull on left, with some even wear and small chips. The hammer is a Second Generation hammer, and the action has been reworked in modern times; the bore is near excellent, serial numbers are all matching.

Turkish or mid-eastern 19th century flintlock horseman's pistol with ornate metal overlay and inlaid with coral and turquoise gemstones. The pistol measures 19", the barrel measures 12-1/2" and is approximately.69 cal. The wood stock is covered in hand hammered silver colored sheet metal, with gold gilt and some engraving and decorations. The rear portion of the stock shows many small stones inlaid into bezels, which arecharacteristic of the 19th century; about 90% of the turquoise and coral remain, less than 10% are missing. The stocks show a slightly better than average grain and are possibly 1X with20-40% original varnish, even loss, slight scratches and normal use. The markings are good, the rear sight is marked patented February 22, 1927 in the original dovetail, and a Lyman type front sight is in the frontdovetail. English flintlock pistol signed Ramsford, circa about 1760 to 1780. The pistol measures 15-5/8" overall with 9-1/8" iron barrel, brass mounted full stocked, approximately .69 cal. smooth bore. The metal surfaces show light to nearly heavy scattered erosion and surface pitting with a dark patina. The pistol is in its original flintlock configuration with correct parts. The stock shows some well done restorationand light refinish. The sideplate is pierced in a scroll design, the butt cap shows a grotesque mask, the stock is nicely carved around the tang in the form of a leaf. Original oil painting of California coastline, signed lower left Robert Wood and entitled "Incoming Tide" by artist on reverse of canvas, and dated 1963. This painting was recently discovered in a Corona del Mar,California estate. The painting measures approximately 24" x 48". The condition is near fine needing just a light cleaning, and is nicely framed. Robert Wood was born 1889, died 1979, and led a very successful andlong career. He worked in California in the 1940s through 1960s, and moved to Bishop, California where he worked until the end of his career. High art French double barrel under-hammer shotgun by Gossett of Paris, circa about 1830-1840,in fine to excellent original condition. The gun is approximately 16 gauge smooth bore, 28" barrels, 44" overall, andweighs approximately 7 lbs. The gun shows dual under-hammers, which this French inventor was known for. Gossett was a top maker who worked for a time at the Versailles Arsenal under the direction of Boutet. The gun shows a full signature in fancy gold letters, "Invention Gossett" in a round cartouche, and "a Paris" in matching fancy script letters. The breech and muzzle show gold lines and border decorations. The tangand action are finely engraved, show portrait of stag, wreaths and arrows. The bottom of the frame in front of the hammers is foliate engraved with a large center showing gold initials "A B". The trigger guard is nicelyengraved with portrait of a flamingo, the tang shows Gossett, Brevette . The stock is fine quality burl walnut, and is magnificently carved with the face of Baccus surrounded by florals and grapes. The wrist

Saxon Royal Court style wheel lock pistol with finely inlaid stocks, showing gold gilt bronze accents and detailed quality engraving and inlay throughout. The diminutive wheel lock measures 9-1/2" overall, with 4-7/8"barrel of approximately .40 cal. The mechanism is fully intact and working, and the stock is beautifully inlaid with bone-ivory (shinbone) which was boiled and polished to look like elephant ivory, andshows inlays and scenes of cavaliers, knight on horseback fighting lion with sword, florals, dots, geometrics, demons and classic designs of the 17th century. The butt cap shows a Saxon-type lion, the ball butt isstrapped with gilt bronze accents, spaced with faces of angels in small medallions inlaid in a row at the center of the stock. The hammer, edge of the lockplate and backstrap are finely engraved. The wheelcover is pierced brass ornamented with serpents. The metal surfaces show some light rust, minor pitting and erosion. This masterpiece of the gunmakers art was made in the 19th to 20th century in our opinion.

High art decorated wheel lock revolving carbine with royal European Court styling and Russian motifs. The gun measures 31-1/2" overall, the barrel measures 17-3/4" and is approximately .40 cal. smooth bore. The armshows a 6-shot hand revolved cylinder which is locked by a spring attached to the top of the barrel. The stock is finely inlaid in ivory and bone with wire accents and 2 small pearl inlays, one at left reads "1617", theone on right side shows the crest of a demonic cat holding a dagger. The cylinder shows exquisite quality brass overlay which is pierced and engraved in the form of a Russian eagle, 2 does, florals, birds andgriffins. The work is exceptional. The inlays also are of fine quality and show decorations of demons, animals, serpents, griffin, mythical beasts, all in the 17th century style. The metal surfaces show somelight to moderate pitting. It is our opinion that this fine little wheel lock carbine was actually made in the 19th or 20th century; however, whatever its age it is a work of art that a master gunsmith who could make it

Winchester Model 1873 special order semi-deluxe rifle, .32-20 cal., 24" octagon barrel, half-magazine, case hardened frame, select stock with fancy grain, Venier tang sight, Beech front sight, serial #119293A.The barrel shows 75-85% original blue, some just beginning age, minor scratches, good crisp and sharp edges. The frame, hammer and lever show 20-30% case hardening drifting to gray with some light cleaning. The forendcap and butt stock have been lightly cleaned. The stock shows a beautiful burl wood grain and tight wood to metal fit with a coating of new clear varnish which has melted and has fragments of a rifle boot that it was stored in. This finish needs to be stripped and proper varnish applied; there has been no sanding to the stock. The loading gate shows most of its bright blue; the bore is very good+. The markings are good, the edges are crisp, the frameshows 40-60% original toning blue with some scratches, erosion, normal aging. The hammer and lever show traces of case hardening going to patina, the forend cap and butt plate show an uncleaned patina. There is aslightly better than average grain to the butt stock and it may be 1X. The wood is very good+ with excellent wood to metal fit and about 70% varnish. High art decorated Royal European revolver on Gasser design, 11 mm cal., 6-shot double action, top of frame high relief gold inlaid in 2 lines and the first line reads "MILLER & VAL.GREISS, MUNCHEN"; the second line reads"HOFL.S.K.HDPR. LUDWIG FERDINAND". Ludwig Ferdinand was a Prince of Bavaria, and the left side of the frame shows the Bavarian Crest in high relief gold inlay. The right side of the frame shows 2 large A'sintertwined and surmounted by a royal crown. The balance of the pistol is very tastefully gold inlaid in high relief showing exquisite quality scrolls, leaves, borders and lines. The hammer is very well chiseled andcheckered on the back and the metal work is reminiscent of the Munich Court work done in the 17th century. The condition is fine to excellent showing virtually no use, bright polish and fire blue, 98-99%, no evidence offiring or use, excellent grips. The rifle shows a special rear sight in the proper dovetail which is unusual in that it is a circle with white ring, and the front sight is marked Lyman and in the original base. The rifle retains 95%+ original blue on the barrel thinning on edges and muzzle, 90-95% on magazine tube andforend cap; the frame shows 80-90% original blue thinning on the belly and edges. The hammer and lever show 20-40% case hardening drifting to patina. The stocks are very good+ with a few dings and mars and excellent wood to metal fit. The hammer and lever show traces of color, stocks appear to be oil finished and are slightly dark and are in good condition with some high point and edge wear to the checkering. There is a chip to the butt plate at the toe and a very small loss of wood there. The action is good, the bore is very good+ and looks like it will clean to excellent. Remington Model 1875 Single Action Frontier revolver, .44-40 cal., desirable original blue finish, wood grips, pinched front sight, with deluxe period silver inlaid blade, serial #654. The revolver shows 50-70%original blue finish evenly drifting and toning and areas where the finish has lifted gone to a light patina with just beginning aging and some small areas of pinprick pitting. The remaining blue is bright andthe metal surfaces are crisp. The wood grips show a 44 stamp on left side and are fine to near new, still fuzzy. The hammer shows 90%+ bright original blue, the markings are sharp, the action is crisp, the bore isbright and all the original small parts are retained. There are some scratches on the bottom of barrel near the muzzle from careless removal of cylinder pin long ago. It would be hard to improve on this blue 1875 without spending a ton of money. Nimschke, nickel plated with extra fine raised carved ivory grips, showing handsomeox, serial #105870; factory letter indicates shipped to Schoverling, Daly & Gales in the soft for engraving on July 28, 1884, 15 guns in shipment, grips not listed. The Colt shows 85-95% original period nickel finishwith some drifting at the edges, gripping areas and muzzle. The markings are sharp, the edges are crisp, some just starting minor aging. Colt 1851 Fourth Model Navy revolver., .36 cal. percussion, 7-1/2" barrel, traces of original blue and case hard, varnished wood grips, #127745 showing capping groove cut in right side of frame. The Navy shows tracesof original blue mixed with a brown patina on barrel, some scattered erosion, pinprick pitting and small areas of light cleaning long ago on the top flat. The barrel address is sharp, the edges fairly crisp, there aresome minor nicks and dents. The cylinder shows 10-30% scene with faint traces of some letters of the engagement date. The cylinder shows some light cleaning long ago and some minor pitting and erosion. The frame, lever, hammer have gone to patina with slight traces of case hardening mixed in. The grips are good with a couple of small losses, some marks at the bottom from tacking, one spot from driving a nail, but at least good. Allmatching visible serial numbers with a large 2 on frame, barrel, trigger guard and backstrap by the serial number (just a batch number). The metal surfacesshow a brown patina finish with light to slightly heavy scattered erosion and pitting. The barrel address, patent markings are visible and there is a trace of scene. There has been some light cleaning, mostly on thecylinder, long ago. The grips are very good showing some marks from attachment of stock, minor scratches, 2 sharp cartouches, B H, left and right. Colt Model 1877 Thunderer revolver., .41 cal., 4-1/2" barrel, factory engraved, pearl grips, shipped to E. J. Post and Company, Albuquerque Territory of New Mexico, March 29, 1886, 1 gun in shipment, with allfeatures verified by factory letter, serial #52612. This 1877 shows an old re-nickled finish of which 98% remains. The refinish is fairly good quality, and there was some polishing which has weakened the edges,markings and engraving, and also the etched panel was lost to the refinish. Matching serial numbers, good to very good grips, action good, bore fair. The cylinder shows 40-60% cylinder scene, many scratches and dings, gone to brown patina.The frame, hammer and loading lever show a patina with slight traces of case hardening. The initials AR are carved into the right bottom grip, and the grips have been lightly refinished. Numbers are matching, and thebutt number has been defaced with scratches, though lightly visible, and the same number. The action is not quite functioning properly or holding on full cock, there is bright blue under the loading lever with a good bore that is still bright. This is an uncataloged variation which is not even in most books, and also the pistol shows zero marking on barrel, frame, trigger guard and backstrap,which old time collectors believe that this indicates the pistol was supplied with a shoulder stock. The metal surfaces show a gray to brown patina finish with mottled rust and erosion, some traces of finish mixed in, some light to slightly heavy scattered erosion and pinprick pitting. The cylinder shows approximately 40-60% scene with some fairly deep nicks and dents. All matching serial numbers, good barrel address, goodframe marking. Smith & Wesson Third Model hand ejector .32 S&W long cal., factory cutaway or salesman's sample, circa about 1935-1950. The only marking is a C stamped on the inner portion of the right butt. The pistol was neverpolished and shows tool marks which is what leads us to believe it is a factory cutaway. Spencer Model 1865, .50 cal. repeating carbine in relic condition, showing Indian tacks, serial #21109. The metal surfaces are heavily rusted, the lever is broken, the stocks are weathered and aged from exposureto the elements; the right butt stock shows old original to-the-period brass tacks laid in Indian designs. These Spencers were some of the earliest cartridge guns in the west and a few cases were found at major Indianbattle sites in Montana and Wyoming. These southeast Asian swords are generally poor quality and of modern manufacture; thisis a quality ethnic weapon from an old time sword collector. The blade measures 27" and is approximately 1-1/4" wide across the ricasso, and 37-1/2" overall. The blade shows floral inlays running down the centerblood groove from rear almost to the point, with figures of birds, deer, mythical beast. The blade is good with some minor pitting. Goodson, December 15, 1913; one gun in shipment and under remarks the records indicate the revolver was originally furnished with a double action or long flute cylinder, serial #330352. The raised carved ivory grips are not mentioned in the letter,but are definitely Colt products, fit well, show nice aging and the left grip shows breaks and repairs during use with the right grip showing detailed carving of steer head. Documentation indicates that Sam Goodson was listed in the Salina city directory as a Deputy Sheriff at time of the gun being shipped to Lee Hardware Company, who undoubtedly special ordered it for him. Bill Decker began his career in 1923 and served as Chief Deputy for Dallas County and died in office at theage of 71. Smith 20 gauge Field Grade double barrel shotgun, 28" barrels, double triggers, standard extractors, in very good+ to near fine original condition, serial #98420, with armorer steel marking and Hunter Armsaddress. The gun is choked improved modified right, extra full left. The barrels retain 95-98% original blue, just starting to age with some loss at the edges and muzzle. The frame shows 75-85% casehardening, drifting on the edges but still very colorful and aging nicely. The trigger guard shows 95% original blue; the stocks are very good+ with crisp checkering and the original pad is retained. The stock measures nearly 14-3/4" to end of pad and is its full original length. The action locks tight, the bores are very good+ and may clean to excellent. Est.: $800-$1,600

Rare Model 98 Mauser, 243 maker coded, 1940 dated, with experimental bakelite composite stock, serial #9637. The metal surfaces show an old re-blued finish of which about 80% remains, drifting on the action, some pitting on the barrel; proofs defaced on left side of receiver, possibly when captured. The stock shows 3 proofs at the center right, 2 proofs at the bottom of the stock and there is an aluminum minor in the sling slot, withperiod leather sling and muzzle cover included. The stock shows a leather gasket type recoil pad with a metal plate. The bolt safety and magazine floorplate do not match. The action is good, the bore is very good. Early James Rogers Royal Cutlery Sheffield marked knife with circular cartouche stamped in blade cast steel Bowie knife. The blade has been reduced to approximately 8-3/4"; the knife is now 13-3/8" overall. The blademeasures almost 1-3/4" across the back of the ricasso and the knife is of thick stock being 1/4" to 5/8" wide. The blade reduced at least 3"-4" in our opinion. The blade shows light to heavy pitting and the grip and ferrell are old period replacements. The grip shows a crack, a repair with a nail, and good frontier carry and use. Springfield Model 1903 bolt action U. S. Military issue rifle, .30-06 cal., serial #178550, barrel Rock Island Arsenal marked, dated 6/11. The rifle shows its original early stock with good cartouche right abovethe trigger with initials "C N" with the date 1907, fancy P proof in circle behind trigger guard; L stamp above and below the P. There is a large S stamped in the wood in front of the barrel band. The bottom of thebarrel shows M 16 with P proof beneath it. The metal surfaces show 50-70% original arsenal colors going light and to natural metal, with good sharp markings. Full stock percussion Kentucky style rifle, signed "W. _ilman" (possibly Pilman or Tilman), showing nice pierced patch box, German silver and brass inlays, in attic condition with no restoration. The riflemeasures 52-1/4" overall, 36-1/2" barrel, approximately .41 cal., of medium weight, double set triggers, plain brass mounts. The lock shows a name which is illegible, and the lock is secured by 1 screw. The woodshows a loss and break at top edge, measures approximately 3-1/4" by 1/4". There are 2 German silver inlays missing from the forend; there is a small repair beneath the front thimble, and the barrel appears to have beenshortened long ago between 4" and 6" from the placement of front thimble. The top of the stock behind the tang shows an oval carving where a German silver inlay rested, and is now missing. There is a half moon in Germansilver above the cheekpiece, and 3 German silver inlays on the left side of the stock. There are 2 teardrop shaped inlays in front framing the sideplate escutcheon, which is sheet brass and an odd shape, almost like a

Mass Arms .36 cal. 5-shot revolver with 6" octagon barrel, made on Adam's patent showing old re-blued finish, and frame blown and repaired during period of use. The patent markings on each side of the frame are mostly visible, the edges fairly sharp, the action is not working; the grips are good with a few small chips and losses, normal wear. The front sight is an old replacement, the interior is remarkably good, the originalramrod is retained. The butt cap is script inscribed "Colonel C. W. Sears, 46th Miss. Regt.". The engraving is slightly crude and we cannot authenticate it as it also has been cleaned slightly in that area. However, we will say it was found in a Louisiana collection, and the collector who owned it did not even recall the inscription. No serial number visible. Colt 1849 Pocket Model, .31 cal. percussion, 4" barrel, gray patina finish, wood grips, serial #130944. The barrel shows a 2-line New York address and the pistol has a 5-shot cylinder. The metal surfaces show a gray tobrown patina, scattered light to moderate erosion and pitting, about 50-60% cylinder scene, good markings. The wedge screw is missing; front sight an old handmade oversized replacement using a copper pennythat has been reduced to a blade and soldered to the barrel. The markings are good, the action is good, the straps show about 40% darkened silver. There are scratches on the inside of the trigger guard that are notwriting, and are very interesting and unlike any other marking we have seen. Early Charles Daly double barrel exposed hammer cartridge shotgun, 12 gauge, 32" barrels, Damascus patterns; serial # 315835, choked improved modified right, modified left, signed on both barrels and locks. Theleft barrel shows a large dent that appears to have gone through into the bore; the gun shows a dark brown patina, good wood with a nice grain, a couple of large chips from the edges of the forend. Interesting Model 1897 Winchester pump action 12 gauge shotgun, showing possible prototype or experimental features. The gun shows a nicely made aluminum forend grip and the serial number is marked WRACO. The condition is fair showing a gray patina, some scattered rust and erosion; the stocks show some dings, mars and scratches from use. There has been a screw replaced on the right side of the forend at a later date. The last patent date on barrel address is December 6, 1892 and the actuating arm between the pump grip and bolt shows Model 1897 Winchester marking. Navaha folding knife of massive size marked Desnos Aalecon. The knife measures 19" overall when unfolded, with 9" blade, showing a fierce clip point, nearly 2" across the ricasso and constructed of thick steel almost 1/4" thick. The blade is nicely etched on both sides, showing men on horseback chasing bull on left, and hunting scenes on right surrounded by scroll. The back edge of blade and lock are nicely scrolled and worked.The grip is of a light colored horn; condition is very good overall with some slight staining on the blade, shows 95% of its etching, just slight discoloration and normal aging. The revolver remains in very good+ condition with 80-90% original nickel, drifting on backstrap and high points. Someminor scratching and just starting erosion where the nickel has lifted. English heavy Cavalry style saber, circa 1800 to 1815, signed Osborn on back of blade near the hilt. All matching visible serial numbers, 95-98% original blue, very slight loss at the high points and muzzle, near excellent grips. The interior shows almost no use and bright bore. All correct military parts, spot welded clip marked P-38. Holster shows Nazi acceptance stamp, WaA 23, and manufacturer code marking BMV 44 with P-38 designation.The holster retains extra spot welded and P-38 marked clip. The inside of the holster shows the name "D. Lamoree" penned in. The holster is very good+ with light colored original stitching, just minor scuffs. Astrong 9+ on 1 to 10 scale. The pistol remains in goodcondition with 75-85% original nickel on frame and stock, 10-20% original blue on barrel mostly at the breech; some scattered erosion and light to moderate pitting, with the heavier pitting on the right side of theblock and at the right front muzzle. The breech block on the left side and top show considerable rainbow case hardening. The trigger and springs show bright fire blue, the bore is at least very good. Very finely made custom knife by contemporary bladesmith, signed Kious. The style of the knife is influenced by English makers of the 19th century for exhibitions. The blade is a spear point measuring 11", knife is 15-3/4"overall. The polish and grind are excellent and the blade shows double grooves and precision manufacture. The guard is nicely filed and well made, the grip is turned and inlaid with wire. A polished steel mountedand leather scabbard is included. Spanish Miquelet flintlock fowler circa late 18th or early 19th century; 48-1/4” overall with a 34” barrel, of approx. 12 gauge smoothbore, the barrel is nicely silver inlaid at the breech and shows a maker’scartouche with a five-pointed crown, the letters “EUQ, CA, Jor IP”; there is a marking stamped just behind the trigger guard in the stock which may be a collection ID but not quite visible; the gun shows iron mountings,lightly engraved lock, wood is good with small losses at the top edge, some chips and breaks along the edge of the fore end; the butt stock portion is in the Catalan style; generally good overall; some light rust anderosion; there is a marking at the left rear breech “AP” with a small proof. The blade measures 2-1/8" across widest part and is gripped in stag horn with coffin shapedpommel and brass guard. The condition is fine to excellent with no scabbard. European ax showing armorers mark and engraved designs, circa 16th to 18th century. The cutting edge measures 12-1/4" across edge by nearly 9" from center of hammer portion to edge. The metal is heavilypitted, shows age and use as would be expected. The blade shows remnants of decoration and a well defined deep stamp showing "FP" in a heart shape with deep designs that were all marked when forged.The shaft is a replacement and measures approximately 36". Mid-19th century pistol case for American style revolver, circa 1850s-60s, red velveteen lined partition style interior. The pistol would measure approximately 12-7/8" overall with a 5-1/2 to 6" barrel,and would measure approximately 3-7/8" from the hammer to the edge of the guard. The case is approximately 1-1/4" deep; the case is in fair condition needing re-gluing to the joints and small restoration. The exteriorshows some scratches and losses to the key plate but would restore nicely. The upper portion of theair seal on the box shows an old repair with replacement of wood. The darker holster isthe same universal design, shows a plug in the bottom, original stitching, the belt loop is retained and shows the markings 308X and 7-1/2". The pistol would measure approximately 10" from muzzle to end of grip, with approximately 4-1/2 to5" barrels. The inside of the case is lined in brown velveteen, the condition is fair to good and would improvewith slight restoration. The flask is good. U. S. M1 Carbine manufactured by Quality Hardware with Underwood marked 1943 dated barrel, flip up rear sight, no bayonet lug, serial #4657741. The stock shows RMC in sling slot and number 7741. The butt stockhas been lightly refinished. The grip cap area of the pistol grip shows an aluminum tag, 548. The metal surfaces have been re-blued and refinished; the operating rod, safety and clip release show matchingnumbers. A Universal Firearms mount has been screwed into the left side of the receiver and there are 4 deep drill and tap holes there; and a scope numbered 233 but not maker marked is included. Cartridge belt with original Bridgeport attachment for Colt Single Action Army fast draw rig, the type favored by lawmen, messengers and bank guards during the frontier era. The cartridge belt is simplebrown leather, hardware or catalog style, measuring 2-1/4", numbered 55, nickel plated square harness type buckle, large caliber loop for .44 or .45 cal pistol, good condition, a few loops have come unstitched. The Bridgeport portion shows 80-90% original nickel, with gray patina, rust and normal aging. The attachment spring is marked patented January 17, 1882, and in reverse on bottom flange, Bridgeport G.I. Co. forBridgeport Gun and Implement Company who were the successors to Sharps Rifle Company. The studs and rivets show proper age and green vertigre and we will guarantee the authenticity of this Bridgeport rig. It waspurchased from C. W. Slagle of Scottsdale, Arizona more than 20 years ago.
